To ask the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform if the Office of Government Procurement was involved with the procurement process for a company (details supplied) in regard to the strategic communications unit; the specific requirements provided to the Office of Government Procurement in terms of deciding the best option; if a tendering process was completed; the cost of each tender received; the reason given for choosing the company; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Office of Government Procurement had no involvement in the procurement process for the named company in relation to the Strategic Communications Unit.
