971. To ask the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection the number of persons in receipt of one-parent family payment and the related number of children who are also in receipt of family income supplement; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [12573/18]

At the end of February there were 39,432 people in receipt of a One-Parent Family Payment from my Department. Of these, 5,151 were also in receipt of a Working Family Payment (formerly Family Income Supplement), benefitting some 9,069 children.
