My Department’s records indicate that six new applications have been sought for the cultivation of aquatic plants during the period in question. These licence applications have not yet been determined.

My Department’s records indicate that thirteen aquaculture sites are licensed to cultivate aquatic plants in accordance with the provisions of the 1997 Fisheries (Amendment) Act.
