I am informed by the Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service (INIS) of my Department that this case relates to a person who was the subject of a Deportation Order made on 20 October, 2008. The person referred to brought a Judicial Review of this decision to the High Court. As the appeal of the High Court decision is now before the Supreme Court and as the case is still sub judiceI do not propose to comment further. The State has presented its case before the Supreme Court and judgment is awaited.
