An authorised officer of my Department met with the land owner on site on the 2^ndFebruary 2018. The uprooting and clearance of trees is currently being investigated.  My Department is also investigating compliance with the EIA (Agriculture) Regulations which came into force on 8^thSeptember 2011.

While these investigations are ongoing, it is not appropriate to comment further.
