493. To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if he will request the NTA and Irish Rail to ascertain if the Sligo to Dublin train could stop at Broombridge station, Dublin 7 to enable greater connectivity options to persons from County Sligo; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The issue raised is a matter for the National Transport Authority (NTA) in conjunction with Irish Rail and I have forwarded the Deputy's question to the NTA for direct reply. Please advise my private office if you do not receive a response within ten working days.
