To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the number of mouthpieces for a device (details supplied) that have been supplied to An Garda Síochána in each month since the introduction of the device; the number of mouthpieces outstanding from incomplete orders, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The supply of the items referred to is the statutory responsibility of the Medical Bureau of Road Safety. I have therefore referred the Question to the Bureau for direct reply. I would ask the Deputy to contact my office if a response has not been received within ten days.
