Clare County Council (CCC) has requested approval to advance a detailed project-level assessment and design to address flooding in the Springfield, Cloonlara, Co. Clare. The OPW has approved funding for the appointment of consultants by CCC.

The Council has engaged consultants to complete the detailed design to determine if a viable flood defence scheme can be implemented to defend the properties in this area. This work is ongoing.
