The information requested by the Deputy is as follows:

Name of Public BodyPercentage
Institute of Technology Tallaght2.90%
NCAD2.70%
Waterford Institute of Technology2.44%
Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI)1.32%
Léargas0%

Of the 18 bodies reporting, 13 reported 3% or higher of their staff as having a disability. While this is slightly lower than in 2015 when 15 bodies were reported as having complied with the 3% target decreases were attributed to resignations due to other employment opportunities. Despite the decrease in the number of bodies achieving the 3% target, overall compliance of 4.00% was achieved in respect of the 18 reporting bodies in 2016 which compares with an overall compliance of 3.8% in 2015.
