To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the public private partnerships his Department is currently engaged in; the name, cost and timeframe of each; the names of all private parties involved; the nature of each project in terms of design, build, maintain and so on, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department is not currently engaged in any Public Private Partnerships.

As Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, I have responsibility for overall policy and funding in relation to the national roads programme. Individual national road schemes, including Public Private Partnership schemes, are a matter for Transport Infrastructure Ireland.

Noting the above position, I have referred the Deputy's question to TII for direct reply. Please advise my private office if you don't receive a reply within 10 working days.
