112. To ask the Minister for Health if he has received a request from the HSE for additional funding to allow for the restoration of pay for workers in a section 39 organisation (details supplied) as per the Labour Court recommendation of 20 November 2017; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The HSE brought the Labour Court recommendation in question to the attention of the Department. Arrangements are being finalised for a process to establish the factual position regarding pay reductions and pay restoration in the Section 39 organisations. It is anticipated that this process will bring about the necessary clarity and transparency as well as an agreed way forward for all parties involved. I am continuing to engage with my colleague, the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform, in relation to the final details including the implementation of this process.
