To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the way in which data on cyclists' injuries is being collected and collated; the number of persons presenting to hospitals around the country with such injuries in each of the years 2015, 2016 and 2017; and if he will make a statement on the matter. This is a matter for the Road Safety Authority. I have referred the question to the Authority for direct reply. I would ask the Deputy to contact my office if a response is not received within 10 days.
