713. To ask the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection the number of persons aged 65 years and over in receipt of a jobseeker's payment; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [54160/17]

I am informed that at the end of November 2017 there were 5,744 persons that were 65 years of age and over in receipt of a jobseeker's payment and a further 3,324 persons signing for jobseeker’s credits.
