455. To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport his plans to secure the provision of a school warden for a school (details supplied) for the safety of schoolchildren crossing the Green Luas line at Windy Arbour Luas station in view of the fact that the Luas track is not within the remit of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I share the concerns of the Deputy regarding this issue and in my capacity as a public representative for the area, I have brought the matter directly to the attention of Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII), in whose responsibility it lies.

As it is however a matter for Transport Infrastructure Ireland, I have now also forwarded the Deputy's question to them for direct reply. Please contact my office if you do not receive a response within ten working days.
