To ask the Minister for Housing, Planning, and Local Government further to Parliamentary Question No. 228 of 15 November 2017, the meaning of his statement with regard to advance funding in the case of Cork County Council (details supplied); the details this approach; if it is available to each county; and if he will make a statement on the matter. In respect of a number of turnkey projects, Cork County Council is progressing an approach in certain situations whereby land is provided as security against the provision of a limited deposit. The availability of this approach to other local authorities will be considered where it is feasible and is recommended by the local authority.
