My Department is currently examining possible breaches of licence conditions in respect of three aquaculture licences held by the Company or subsidiary companies referred to by the Deputy.

This represents approximately 19% of licences held by the Company or subsidiary companies.

Every effort is being made by my Department to bring these examinations to a conclusion as soon as possible. As these examinations are ongoing as part of a statutory process it would not be appropriate for me to comment further pending completion of this process.
