To ask the Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht if her attention has been drawn to the fact that Meath County Council is awaiting a response from the National Monuments Service regarding an archaeological impact assessment at the castle and tower house in Ashbourne, County Meath (details supplied); her plans to develop a new playground for the community that is being delayed as a result; if the response from the National Monuments Service will be expedited; and if she will make a statement on the matter. My Department responded to the archaeological submissions in this case a number of weeks ago and is now awaiting receipt of additional particulars sought as part of that response. The case will be dealt with as quickly as possible once the additional information is received.
