81. To ask the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation the Irish companies that had stands at the defence and security equipment international exhibition in London from 12 to 15 September 2017; if they received State support to attend - for example, from the Enterprise Ireland internationalisation grant; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The Enterprise Ireland Internationalisation Grant is designed to assist established client companies to research and explore business opportunities in international markets. This grant instrument is primarily designed to support the costs of undertaking new market research and cannot directly support sales activity.

I can confirm that Enterprise Ireland has not funded any of its client companies to attend the defence and security equipment international exhibition in London.
