To ask the Minister for Health if his attention has been drawn to the fact that the HSE insists on EU state pensioner medical card applications and renewals being subjected to means test even though card holders have an automatic entitlement to the card under EU regulation; if he will instruct the HSE to abandon this practice; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
