To ask the Minister for Health when the review in respect of the reimbursement of long-term illness medical expenses for a person (details supplied) will be completed; if there is an onus on a medical clinician, pharmacist or other to advise a person regarding their entitlement to avail of the LTI scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Under the Health (Pricing and Supply of Medical Goods) Act 2013, the HSE has statutory responsibility for the administration of the community drug schemes; therefore, the matter has been referred to the HSE for attention and direct reply to the Deputy.
