318. To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport further to Parliamentary Question No. 509 of 3 October 2017, the date on which the RSA commenced the review of the way in which a place of birth is recorded on licences; the scope of this review; the engagement that has taken place with counterparts in other parts of the island; when the findings of this review will be complete; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Road Safety Authority (RSA) is considering this matter, and my officials have also engaged with the Authority on how to address these cases.

As consideration is ongoing, it is not possible to be precise as to when the matter will be resolved, but I am keen to see a satisfactory resolution of this issue as soon as possible.
