To ask the Minister for Housing, Planning, and Local Government if his Department collects annual statistics from local authorities on the number of joint tenancies in local authority and approved body housing in which one partner relinquishes the tenancy; if so, the number of these instances it is the female partner who relinquishes their share of the tenancy leaving the male partner as the sole tenant; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
