To ask the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the number of doping tests undertaken out of competition at kennels since the introduction of such testing; the number of disqualification orders issued for greyhounds involved in anti doping breaches in each year since 2010, in tabular form; and the number of licences that have been revoked for trainers found to have committed anti doping breaches in each year since 2010, in tabular form. Bord na gCon is a commercial State body, established under the Greyhound Industry Act, 1958, chiefly to control greyhound racing and to improve and develop the greyhound industry.
Bord na gCon is a body corporate and a separate legal entity to the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine.
Accordingly, the information being requested by the Deputy has been forwarded to Bord na gCon for direct reply.
