To ask the Minister for Health if funding will be provided in budget 2018 for an additional podiatrist for Galway, in view of the fact that Galway has one of the largest year-on-year increases in persons requiring inpatient treatment for diabetic foot ulceration and there has also been an increase in the number of persons in Galway with diabetes being hospitalised for lower limb amputation; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
