As ETB teachers are employed by the ETB scheme, movement between schools from time to time and in accordance with changing needs is expected. In relation to administrative staff, my Department has been informed by the ETB that no administrative posts have changed location to date. However, where opportunities for internal acting-up appointments and consequential vacancies arise, existing staff are facilitated where possible, in remaining in their base location for the duration of the temporary appointment.
