To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport his plans to reduce the required 24 hours notice that passengers with a disability must give to travel on an Irish Rail service; if so, the amount of time the notice will be reduced to; the timeframe for these changes to come into effect; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The issue raised is a matter for Irish Rail and I have forwarded the Deputy's question to the company for direct reply.  Please advise my private office if you do not receive a response within ten working days.
