To ask the Minister for Health the policy or procedures in place in the accident and emergency departments of Cherry Orchard Hospital, Our Lady's Children's Hospital and the Coombe women and children's hospital when an adult, adolescent or child, respectively, presents with suicidal ideation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As this is a service matter I have asked the Health Service Executive to respond directly to the Deputy as soon as possible.
