549. To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice and Equality further to Parliamentary Question No. 56 of 1 June 2017, if he will report on the other high priority changes that are listed for the CCTS; if a timeframe for implementation has been agreed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As the Deputy is aware, under the provisions of the Courts Service Act 1998, management of the courts is the responsibility of the Courts Service which is independent in exercising its functions, which include the provision of information on the courts system. However, in order to be of assistance to the Deputy, I have had enquiries made and the Courts Service has advised that the necessary change to CCTS as required is in hands and it is anticipated that this will roll out in the near future.
