​I refer to my previous answer to PQ1857 of 20 June 2017. Any estimation of the number of cars using our roads, either on a national basis or just in the Greater Dublin Area, whether during a particular period or not, would involve the use of traffic count surveys and is entirely a matter for each local authority, who have primary responsibility for traffic management in their respective functional areas. I have no role in the matter.
