I saw the Greek Prime Minister in the margins of the meeting of the European Council in Brussels on 22/23 June. I took the opportunity to give him a copy of the letter from the Minister of Foreign Affairs to his Greek counterpart, regarding monitoring of the case. I can assure the Deputy that the Government remains committed to doing all that it can to secure the earliest possible return of Ibrahim Halawa to Ireland.
