To ask the Minister for Health the number of times a doctor not on the Medical Council’s specialist register and who does not hold specialist division registration and, therefore, does not meet required qualification requirements including consultants appointed prior to March 2008 who did not have to meet that requirement on appointment but are operating as consultants have had a complaint lodged with the Medical Council regarding their performance; the nature of the complaint; the outcome of the complaint; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
