An advertisement seeking expressions of interest for appointment to the Board of the Western Development Commission was placed on the State Boards website earlier this year. The closing date for receipt of expressions of interest was 26^thApril 2017. The expressions of interest received were recently assessed by a panel formed by the Public Appointments Service, and a shortlist of candidates has been forwarded to my Department for consideration.

The appointments to the Board Western Development Commission will be made very shortly.
