879. To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice and Equality if his attention has been drawn to the case of the continuing incarceration of a person (details supplied) living in direct provision in Clondalkin; the steps he will take to allow this person privacy of self catering accommodation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I do not accept that any person who has sought or is seeking international protection is incarcerated in any State provided accommodation centre. Accommodation is offered to all persons applying for international protection and it is open to any persons to accept or refuse that offer. While residing in the accommodation centre in question all persons are provided with full board accommodation and have access to all State services. It is worth noting that the person in question is presently the subject of a deportation order having failed in his application for international protection and it is incumbent on him to comply with that order and vacate the State.
