To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice and Equality when the stay back provision and third level graduate scheme is to be extended from 12 months as outlined in the action plan for education 2017; when this will be in place and implemented; and if there will be a retroactive permission for 1g stamp holders. I would refer the Deputy to my reply to Parliamentary Question No. 100 of 10 May 2017 which also concerned this matter.

As I stated on that occasion, I intend to jointly announce, with my colleague the Minister for Education and Skills, the details for an approved updated Third Level Graduate Programme in the coming weeks. I can, however, say that the revised programme will not be retrospective.
