235. To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the number of driving licences administered yearly by the National Driver Licence Service since its establishment; the revenue generated each year since its establishment; the set-up and annual costs of running the service; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The operation of the National Driver Licensing Service is the statutory responsibility of the Road Safety Authority.  I have therefore referred the Question to the Authority for direct reply.  I would ask the Deputy to contact my office if a response has not been received within ten days.
