195. To ask the Minister for Social Protection the number of persons in receipt of a disability allowance that are blind or have serious sight loss, that are deaf or blind and that have blindness or sight loss as a secondary disability; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21028/17]

At the end of March 2017 there were 128,090 persons in receipt of disability allowance (DA). The Department does not maintain a record of all persons in receipt of DA by type of disability or medical conditions.
