The Cabinet Committee on Housing last met on Monday 10 April 2017. It is scheduled to meet again on 15 May.

It will continue to meet regularly and consider progress implementing Rebuilding Ireland, the Action Plan for Housing and Homelessness, which is a priority issue for the Government.

The Cabinet Committee on Regional & Rural Affairs met on four occasions in 2016, following the formation of the Government. It last met on 12th December 2016 and is due to meet again on 9th May 2017. The Committee provides a whole of government approach to growth in the rural economy as well as supporting quality of life and local service delivery in the regions. This includes supporting the development and implementation of the Action Plan for Rural Development. The Monitoring Group for the Plan, chaired by Minister Humphreys, met on March 23rd and will meet again on July 20th.
