107. To ask the Minister for Justice and Equality the number of times extradition proceedings have been initiated by foreign governments against persons sought to stand trial for crimes committed here; and the number of persons extradited in those circumstances. [17495/17]

Policy in relation to extradition is as reflected in the relevant legislation, primarily the Extradition Act 1965, as amended, and the European Arrest Warrant Act 2003, as amended.
