To ask the Minister for Housing, Planning, Community and Local Government the actions being taken by his Department to encourage the development of new private houses in the State, particularly in Dublin, after a reported decline of 17% of new houses for sale in 2016; the current level of participation in any State programmes; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
