To ask the Minister for Health if there is any policy or procedural item which prevents a first response responder paramedic working with the ambulance service in Northern Ireland from providing treatment, such as sutures to wounds and injuries, to persons when dispatched to attend to calls here; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
