The Health Service Executive's (HSE's) 2017 National Service Plan contains a priority action to establish an innovative pilot day service aimed at supporting people with severe acquired brain injuries. The HSE has recently written to the representatives of the An Saol project to confirm progression of the pilot in 2017. The project will focus on the provision of therapies for people with severe acquired brain injury.

As the Deputy's question relates to service matters, I have arranged for the question to be referred to the HSE for direct reply to the Deputy.
