203. The first appointment to the shared payroll service centre, the Head of Payroll Shared Services, has been made. The appointee is an existing public servant and their initial role will centre around the recruitment and training of staff for the payroll shared services centre. The payroll shared services centre will be actively recruiting as many staff as possible from within the public service. The outcome of this process will drive the number of new recruits required.
