To ask the Minister for Education and Skills the progress made to date by his Department in providing a suitable site for a school (details supplied) which is scheduled to be built in Mullingar; the steps that can be taken to accelerate the construction of same; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As the Deputy may be aware, my Department has identified a suitable site as a permanent location for the school to which he refers and the acquisition process is underway. 

Discussions are ongoing in relation to the provision of access to the site and officials in my Department are working with officials from Westmeath County Council in this regard.
