To ask the Minister for Health the number of instruments used in the detection and treatment of cancer of a value of over €500,000 that are not functioning within the HSE; the number of situations in which an alternative instrument is not available to the patients in question; the number of persons waiting on diagnosis and-or procedures involving those instruments; the number waiting for periods measured by the number of months; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
