To ask the Minister for Health the number of persons on the National Treatment Purchase Fund pre-planned list for each month in 2016 and for January 2017; and the number waiting on the list for up to three months, three to six months, six to nine months, nine to 12 months, 12 to 15 months, 15 to 18 months, and more than 18 months, in tabular form. I wish to advise the Deputy that there were 59,842 patients on the NTPF Pre-planned list at the end of December 2016.

I wish to advise the Deputy that the pre-planned list data was not collected until 2014. There were 32,819 patients on the NTPF Pre-planned list at the end of December 2014 and 50,261 patients at the end of December 2015.
