To ask the Minister for Education and Skills if there is any mechanism by which leaving certificate applied students who wish to apply for membership of An Garda Síochána could be granted an interim indication of results in order that their applications may be assessed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The State Examinations Commission has statutory responsibility for operational matters relating to the certificate examinations.
