To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport his views on whether demand for commuter rail services between Newbridge, County Kildare and Grand Canal Dock in Dublin via the Phoenix Park Tunnel, would be enhanced if that service were to be converged with the Connolly Station to Sligo line at Prospect Junction, Cross Guns Bridge, as recommended by a group (details supplied) amongst others; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
