There are a number of data sources available in relation to maternity care which the Deputy may find useful. These include:

1. The Irish Maternity Indicator System (IMIS) ;

2. The National Perinatal Epidemiology Centre (NPEC) ; and

3. The Maternity Patient Safety Statement (MPSS) .

In relation to the particular query raised, I have asked the HSE to respond to you directly.
