The person named made an application for the Afforestation Grant and Premium Scheme, which was unsuccessful.

The applicant appealed this decision; however the original decision was upheld. The applicant was notified of the outcome of the appeal on 22^ndDecember 2016. As the site is very exposed it was determined that it would not be capable of producing a commercial crop and would not, therefore, meet the requirements of the Afforestation Scheme.
