The person named made an application for the Afforestation Grant and Premium Scheme, which was unsuccessful.

The applicant appealed this decision; however the original decision was upheld. The applicant was notified of the outcome of the appeal on 22ndDecember 2016. As the site is very exposed it was determined that it would not be capable of producing a commercial crop and would not, therefore, meet the requirements of the Afforestation Scheme.
