IDA Ireland’s Mid-West Region comprises Limerick, Clare and Tipperary North. All three counties have seen gains in FDI employment over each of the last three years. Total employment in IDA supported companies in the Mid-West at the end of 2016 stood at 17,143 people across 129 companies, up from 15,627 in 2015. Further details of jobs created, lost and total jobs are set out in the table below.
